Old Building

Poseidon Marine Suppliers was established in 1976 by Michael Papachastas and Alexandros Alexandridis. Following their vision and capitalizing on their expertise, they achieved to grow in a short time.

They were driven by their respect to the tradition of Greek shipping trade and they shared the same vision; To provide customers with top quality products and services of the highest standards at the lowest possible cost.

Both Michael Papachastas and Alexandros Alexandridis had extensive experience in this field.

In 1987, the company expanded their business and introduced the LIFERAFTS and FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT inspection section in cooperation with established manufacturers.

In 1998, the company moves to a private owned building in the heart of Piraeus close to the port.

In 2000, Christopher Papachastas, son of Michael enters the company. Poseidon Marine Suppliers proceeded to an acquisition of strategic importance.

It bought out and merged Technoship, a company which specializes in safety and redeeming ship equipment since 1965.

New Building

In 2002 company receives the certification for Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2000.

Throughout the years Poseidon MS Group earned the respect of the marine industry and inspired the confidence of its clients by providing quality services and reliable materials.

For the last 3 decades the company constantly investigates on new products and top quality services. Its focus on business comes through expansion and new partnerships with established firms.
