Service Station
Since April 2022 Poseidon has expanded their business with a privately owned service station in Houston TX, in a constant goal to provide high quality services in key ports around the world.
The station delivers the group’s trusted quality with standardized procedures approved by Class Societies that guarantee the uniformity of the offered services and the alignment with all requirements and regulations.
Our range of services includes the following:
Inspection - Maintenance of:
- Portable and Wheeled Fire Extinguishers, Foam Applicators, BA Compressors, Breathing Apparatuses (SCBA), Emergency Escape Breathing Devices (EEBD)
- Fixed Fire Extinguishing Systems (CO2 High and Low Pressure, Foam, Dry Powder, Water Mist, etc.)
- Immersion Suits, Lifejackets (In atable & Rigid), Protective Suits, Medical Resuscitators / Cylinders, Hydraulic Test and Refilling of Cylinders.
Maintenance / Service / Parts / Supplies of:
- Portable and Personal Gas Detectors
- Fixed Gas Detection Systems
- Alcohol Meters
- Temperature & Pressure Calibrators
- UTI Tapes
Lifeboats:
Annual and five-yearly inspections and tests of lifeboats, freefall lifeboats, rescue boats, release gears, davits, winches as per MSC 402(96) 404(96):
Overhauling of Hooks part of the 5-yearly inspection), Launching Appliances Inspection & Load Tests, FRP Repairs Service providers of T-ISS hooks.
A highly skilled team of technicians covers Houston and the wider area and is on hand to service vessels with reliability and professionalism, in minimum response time. Also, with stock in new safety equipment, our station is able to respond to any emerging supply needs.
