POSEIDON’s experienced lifeboat technicians are located in Piraeus and other global key ports to guarantee that your fleet’s lifeboats and launching appliances are always properly serviced:
PIRAEUS – GREECE, covering the Greek and Mediterranean area.
ROTTERDAM – THE NETHERLANDS, in the heart of Europe and servicing Antwerp, Ghent, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and several ports of N. France.
Additionally our lifeboat experts are capable to fly at ANY port your vessel calls worldwide to offer you high standard inspection and repair services 24/7.
Services:
We offer you annual and five-year periodic inspections and tests on lifeboats, rescue boats, free-fall lifeboats and their launching appliances such as davits and winches of any manufacturer, according to current legislation as per MSC 402(96) 404(96).
Poseidon is an authorized service provider and holds multibrand certificate from DNV and RINA.
Our Lifeboat services are approved by the following classification societies: LR, BV, DNV, NKK, RINA and ABS. Also approved by the Greek flag, Bahamas flag, Panama flag, Liberian flag and Bahamas flag.

Our ISO 9001:2008 approved liferaft service station covers an area of 1500 m2 in the heart of Piraeus. It is equipped with the latest technological equipment and operates in accordance with international approvals and governance registrations.
Our service team follows regularly liferaft training courses with fully qualified instructors that are held either in our station or in international training centers to ensure that they are educated in all aspects of liferaft servicing.
All necessary testing is performed to your liferafts in order to ensure they can function regardless of the weather conditions, and a wide range of brand-approved spare parts is offered to ensure your liferafts include only the proper relevant equipment.
Our station and our technicians are certified to service liferaft brands such as OCEAN SAFETY, SEA SAFE and YOULONG.
