CASA Low Intensity Obstruction Light

The new low intensity LED obstruction light specifically designed to comply with CASA LIOL requirements. This model can be used for marking the top of obstacles up to 45 metres or higher when used in-conjunction with other obstruction lighting solutions from Avlite Systems. Typical application would include telecommunication towers, cooling towers, wind turbines, buildings, cranes and other tall structures.Avlite’s new CASA Low Intensity Obstruction Light, has an advanced lighting optic that uses multiple high intensity LEDs for efficient operation. The obstruction light offers an ultra-bright light that is energy efficient and cost effective lighting solution.

The corrosion resistant, polycarbonate lens is specifically designed for use with LEDs to maximize light intensity and uniformity. The obstruction light is available in universal AC, DC and solar configurations with automatic day night operations and an alarm for remote monitoring making it the ideal product for remote locations or areas with limited access.

Cone and Gable Airfield Markers

Dual Fixture Obstruction Light

FAA L-810
This dual light fixture is a steady burning, low intensity LED obstruction light certified to FAA L-810 requirements. The model can be used for marking obstacles which pose a threat to aircraft, such as telecommunication towers, wind turbines, buildings and other tall structures.

ICAO LIOL Type A/B
This dual light fixture is a steady burning, low intensity LED obstruction light designed to comply with ICAO LIOL Type A & B requirements. The model can be used for marking obstacles up to 45 metres above ground, such as telecommunication towers, wind turbines, buildings and other tall structures.

Elevated Runway Guard Light AV-ERGL

The elevated LED Runway Guard Light is a unidirectional, yellow, alternately flashing fixture that provides a warning to pilots and vehicles that they are approaching an active runway. A selection of Avlite lights are available with GSM Cell-Phone Monitoring. This is a cost effective option giving operators remote control over flash code and intensity settings as well as other features for GSM-enabled lights. The system can also be configured to send out warning SMS text messages to designated cell-phone numbers..

NEW Pilot Activated Lighting Control

Avlite’s wireless network can be integrated to a third party Pilot Activated Lighting Controller (AV-PALC), to allow approaching aircraft to activate lighting on unmanned aerodromes or heliports via VHF Radio Air Band.
This lighting control system is usually used at non-towered or infrequently used airfields where it is not economical to provide staff or keep the airfield constantly lit during night hours. Pilots are able to turn on the lighting system when required leading to significant savings in energy and airfield staffing requirements.
